Day Seven

My most treasured item:

My wedding ring.  This was before we got the engagement ring and wedding band soldered together.  My ring isn't huge, and it's not flashy, but it's totally me.  And it represents the commitment and love Ryan and I have.  It's been five years, and I haven't lost it for an extended period of time yet, so I figure that's good.  :)

Day Six

The person I'd most like to trade places with for a day?  I know this may be strange, but here she is:

You know you want to be Kimberly Williams-Paisley, too. Besides the obvious (she's married to Brad Paisley),  I have several reasons I would like to trade places with her for a day:
1.  She's worked with a TON of really cool people that I would love to meet:  Steve Martin, Patrick Dempsey, Jim Belushi, Courtney Thorne-Smith, etc.

2.  She's an accomplished, published writer.  She's written for Redbook and other magazines, and she also wrote a children's book with her dad.

3.  Good lord, she's gorgeous.  I'd like to know what that's like, just for one day.

Day Five

He is a total pain in my rumpus, but I love this little boy.

Day Three

This is generally my night.  I play on my computer and watch tv.  I usually also try to get some kind of exercise.  So...tonight it was Zumba, which was also done in front of the tv.  I am SO amazing that way.

Day Two

This is my friend Kandi and I at the Brad Paisley concert in Salt Lake this past fall.

Kandi really isn't someone I've known the "longest," but she's my family out here.  My first year in Green River she taught down the hall from me, and now she's my next-door neighbor.  We make a really good team professionally.  On top of that, she's an amazing friend.  We've hugged each other crying in our classrooms over fights with our husbands, lost pets, and family troubles.  We've traveled to Salt Lake together a couple of times, we play Bunco together once a month, we went to Las Vegas for a conference together, and when I'm able and she'll let me I get to go out to her ranch and pretend I'm a cowgirl.  We can call and text each other through about everything.  I love her kids and I can attempt to tolerate her husband. ;-)

She's my Wyoming soul sister, that's for sure.  You make my day, Kandice.  :)
